How Do Customers Find Their Favorite Genres?
The guide organizes radio stations and programs by categories and subcategories. This helps listeners quickly track down their favorite genre. Browse RadioTime.com genres to see how this works.
What about Podcasts?
Podcasts are neither live nor “radio.” However, RadioTime includes podcasts from most radio programs that produce podcasts. The guide also links to major podcast feeds.
What Are RadioTime Channels?
Too many genres and choices make it tough to find something good on radio. RadioTime Channels cut the noise to help your users listen to what they want without the hassle.
The mix of selections changes for seasonal and topical options. In the winter, this would be holiday music. In January, it’s NFL playoffs. Hot topics could be local wildfire coverage and U.S. election coverage. The mix falls into the following categories:
- Music channels consist of stations and programs for adult contemporary, various forms of rock, classical, country, electronic, jazz/new age and more.
- Talk channels contain business, news, public/NPR, religious, sports talk and other programs.
- World channels rotate. They contain various locales such as Hong Kong, London, Montreal, New York, Paris, Sydney and Tokyo.
