NASCAR Racing: NASCAR Banking 500

The half-way mark of the NASCAR Chase for the Sprint Cup arrives at Lowes Motor Speedway with points leader Jimmie Johnson entering his sponsor’s track coming off a big win at Fontana. All signs are pointing to a fourth straight championship for Johnson, but several teams are still in the hunt including those of Martin, Montoya, Stewart and Gordon.

But drivers most likely out of the Chase could still make an impact. Kasey Kahne has won three of the last seven races at Lowes and should be good once again. Will Kasey shake things up, or will one of the top five win again?

The Performance Radio Network (PRN) takes over calling the races this weekend, starting Friday night with the Nationwide Series’ Dollar General 300 at 5:15 p.m. On Saturday, the Motor Racing Network (MRN) starts their Inside Track pre-race show at 5:15 p.m. (ET). PRN begins live radio coverage of the NASCAR Banking 500 at 6:15 p.m. (ET).

As the Chase for the Sprint Cup reaches half-way, continue to follow all the action with RadioTime’s NASCAR channel.
