In-Stat forecast over a quarter billion connected TVs or various set top boxes will ship in 2012. In-Stat also reports 55% of Americans already listen to music from their TV set. .

RadioTime has offered a Windows Media Center Edition solution for a few years, even bundling the app with popular extenders. More recently Boxee added RadioTime as a feature.

We have higher hopes for apps and widgets bundled with popular TV products including today’s announcement with Vizio.
