RadioTime Opens U.K. Office to Meet Growing Worldwide Demand for Its Technology
RadioTime hires Ian Henderson to lead the company’s growth in Europe and Asia
DALLAS – May 28, 2009 – RadioTime, Inc., a developer of technology for finding and listening to radio online, today announced it has opened an office in the United Kingdom to meet growing demand for its service among both users and manufacturers who want to license its technology. RadioTime today also announced it has hired Ian Henderson to lead its new office as Vice President of Sales, Europe & Asia.
RadioTime provides an easy means of finding local, national, or global radio programming airing on more than 60,000 AM/FM and Internet radio stations in 140 countries and broadcasting in 55 different languages. Listeners can use RadioTime to automatically detect what is airing on their local stations, browse by affiliates like ESPN, RadioIO, BBC On Demand and Telecom Italia, and search for specific programs or on-air personalities, not just station call letters or genre. The service ships worldwide without any legal restrictions and enables browsing in 11 languages.

Henderson comes to RadioTime after spending the last four years as Vice President of Worldwide Sales, Reciva Internet Radio. Before joining Reciva, Henderson was with internet and hosting provider PSINet as both Sales and Marketing Director and Deputy Managing Director, where he raised annual sales from $3 million to $100 million over a four year period. Prior to that, he was with major Telco/Hosting/Managed Services Company NTT Verio as European Sales and Marketing Director.
